Your data rights
Last updated 2 November 2026 · Version 1.0
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have a set of rights over the personal data we hold about you. This page explains what they are and how to use them.
Your rights
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct anything wrong or incomplete. Most of it you can edit yourself in the app.
- Erasure — have your account and personal data deleted, subject to the retention we are legally required to keep (below).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable form.
- Objection and restriction — object to a particular use, or ask us to pause it while a question is resolved.
- Ask us to stop using your face — face recognition at the terminal uses biometric data. Call us and we will delete your face data without closing your account. See the privacy policy for how it works today.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the app: More → Profile → Delete Account. You will be asked for your password to confirm it is you.
Full details are on the account deletion page.
What deletion actually does
Your account and the personal details on it — name, email address, telephone number, address, date of birth, profile picture — are irreversibly anonymised. The email address and telephone number stored against past receipts are removed as well. Your photograph and the face template made from it are withdrawn.
What we must keep, and why
The sales themselves are kept for five years. We are required to by Danish bookkeeping law (bogforingsloven §12), and GDPR Article 17(3)(b) allows this where there is a legal obligation. What remains is the transaction — what was bought, when, for how much — no longer connected to you by name, email address or telephone number.
How to make a request
Call +45 25 61 66 55, or write to Unlimit Group A/S, Denmark. Tell us what you want and enough to identify your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that nobody else can make a request about you.
We answer within one month. If a request is complex we may extend that, and we will tell you if so.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark — datatilsynet.dk.
